Upcoming Vietnam War Talks – Veterans’ Experiences and History

February 22: Lou Marucheau, a former Swift Boat officer in the U.S. Navy, will discuss his Vietnam tour (1969–1970) in the Mekong Delta, highlighting the transition of U.S. naval forces to the South Vietnamese Navy.

March 8: Stuart Goldstein, a former Fleet Marine Medic, will share his experiences supporting a Vietnamese hospital in Hoi An through a powerful video essay with images and music from the era.

March 15: Matt Ake, a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, will present a historical overview of Vietnam to set the stage for the March Vietnam War Symposium.

These talks are part of the 2025 Coffee and Conversation series, focusing on Vietnam veterans
